R. F. Paso Fino Farm

Ross will tell you it's never too late to have your dream come true.  After many years of showing the Paso Fino, he finally found his fino dream horse, Atomico Dos Mil.

In his first show out, Atomic and Ross took Championship ribbons in the Amateur Owner Fino Stallions Class at Murfreesboro, TN April 2008.

Ross and Fran were very pleased with Atomic's attitude and willingness to  perform.  They are looking forward to continued success in the show ring in 2012 with the Grand Nationals in sight!

Atomico is a beautiful 14 hands, dapple gray fino stallion sired by Dos Veintidos.  He has a nice disposition and is easy to handle for breeding.

He was shown on a very limited basis while in  Florida, receiving placements including firsts and seconds.

Atomico began his 2008 show season with Ross at the TN Valley April spring show  in Murfreesboro, TN.  In 2009 he had a very successful show season ending with 3rd place in the A/O Fino Stallion & Colts Grand National Championship. In 2010 Atomico placed 4th out of 22 horses in the A/O Fino Stallion class and went on to place 4th in the championship class at the Grand National Show.  Watch for more of Atomico in the A/O Fino Stallion classes again this year.

We want to start a breeding program in 2012.  I acquired "La Contessa de Promesa" mare.  She has produced some young show quality foals at this stage.  The mare is 13 years old and was on pasture for 6 years but has a very VERY great background.  Her sire being "Simbolo de Besilu" top 10 sires for 10 years and her dam "Promesa de Capuchion",  Capuchion being in the top 10 for many years.  We know "Contessa" is fine in the show ring but matching her to our stallion "Atomc dos Mils" a fine stallion should produce a great fold.  We will be breeding her in the spring of 2012.  This is  what we hope is the start of our new breeding program.
